THE BRISTLES GROOMER TRAINING My name is Debby Knight and I decided to teach dog grooming after talking to former students that had been to very expensive grooming schools and were very disappointed. Many had felt they had not received enough individual attention and still did not feel confident to work on their own. I ONLY have ONE or TWO students at a time to ensure one to one tuition. I am a busy grooming parlour, believing in quality, professional grooming. I learnt to groom over 40 years ago and I am still passionate about what I do. I have been fortunate to groom both in the USA (Las Vegas) and in the UK. I invite you to look around my web site. I will teach you to groom your own dog, brush up on the basic grooming techniques, or set up and run your own business. I will also provide phone support after you finish my course. You will use my equipment, while you are learning, so don’t waste money on buying equipment you may not need. Try mine first. If you have any questions or queries before you sign up, for a course, please call me. Your training can be taken in stages or on a continuous basis. Classes are available Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays, where available. I am located on the beautiful border of England and Wales in Oswestry, Shropshire. There is good bed and breakfast accommodation available, plus takeaways, shops etc, all within walking distance of the salon. COURSES:

INTRODUCTION TO DOG GROOMING Come and see how a salon works and find out if this is the career for you. 1/2 day cost £60 (Refundable on booking of 16 day course) Full day cost £110 (£60 refundable on booking of 16 day course)
1 DAY COURSE Courses tailor made to suit, or brush up on grooming individual breeds. Cost £115 per day

You will be trained to City and Guilds Level 2 standard. Cost £1775 (Optional dog grooming kit which contains good quality grooming equipment (the same as you will use when training) for an additional £325, increase to £335 as of 1 Aug 2010) click here for kit.
